What this site collects, and why.
We use your enquiry details to respond to you. With your permission, we also measure website visits and enquiry activity. We do not use advertising cookies or record browsing sessions.
Who is responsible

Contact form
When you send an enquiry we receive what you enter: name, organisation, role, email, phone, site location, your message, any file you attach, and the page you came from including campaign tags in its address. We use it to answer the enquiry and, if you agree by ticking the box, to contact you about it by email or phone. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes
Enquiries are delivered to Symtech's enquiry mailbox or customer-relationship system and kept for as long as the enquiry is open and for up to three years afterwards for follow-up and record keeping, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Attachments are kept with the enquiry.
Careers and recruitment
When you share an email or profile, we store it in our recruitment database in Supabase, hosted in Mumbai, India. CVs are stored privately and are available only to authorised hiring staff. We use your details to review your suitability for a role. If you opt in, we can also keep your profile and contact you about future opportunities. We periodically review stored profiles and remove information that is no longer needed. You may request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw future-contact permission, by emailing sales@symtechindia.com. CVs and application contents are not sent to website analytics. We do not currently use automated candidate scoring or make automated hiring decisions. Any future use of AI to process profiles will be described here before it is introduced.
Hiring team access
The private hiring screen uses a secure session cookie to keep authorised staff signed in for up to one hour. Candidate records can be exported by authorised staff for recruitment administration.
Browser storage
The site keeps the address of the page you first landed on in your browser's session storage so that, if you fill in the form later, the enquiry records how you found us. It is cleared when you close the tab. Public browsing does not require a login cookie.
Optional website analytics
If you choose Allow analytics, PostHog processes page visits, time and scroll depth, Core Web Vitals, product, project and article interest, contact-button and social-profile clicks, form starts, visits to external resources, enquiry outcomes, and recruitment-page interactions such as opening a published role, starting an application and submitting it successfully. We use this service in the United States. We link enquiries to product names and distinguish directly linked products from earlier views. Recruitment analytics uses only public job identifiers, titles and teams; CV contents, form fields and candidate details are excluded. We send page paths, public page identifiers and referring or destination website names, without URL query strings, form contents, attachments or the page elements measured by Web Vitals. PostHog receives connection information such as your IP address when events are sent. Analytics uses a temporary identifier held in memory; we do not create named visitor profiles or record sessions. Your choice is saved in browser storage. You can withdraw permission using Analytics preferences at the bottom of any page. Do Not Track is respected.
Server logs
The hosting provider records standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser type) for security and operation. These are kept for a limited period by the provider.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent to be contacted, by writing to sales@symtechindia.com. We answer within 30 days.
Changes
This notice describes the site as built. If a form, analytics tool or embed is added, the notice is updated before it goes live.
