  1. 01

    Select the car

    The user selects the parking position. The controller determines the platform movements needed to reach it.

  2. 02

    Create an access path

    Platforms move sideways and vertically within the grid. Other vehicles stay on their platforms inside the system.

  3. 03

    Collect at the driving level

    The selected platform reaches the access level so the driver can collect the car.

An 11-car puzzle layout uses the space above and below the garage floor. A separate steel frame supports the system, while moving platforms bring the selected car to the access level.

What does independent retrieval mean in puzzle parking?
Other cars stay on their platforms while the system moves them within the grid to make a path for the selected car. No other driver needs to move a vehicle out.
Is every puzzle system an 11-car pit layout?
No. Eleven cars is our documented project example. The catalogue includes two to six levels; the bay count, capacity and need for a pit are established for the site.
What is the retrieval time?
It depends on the selected bay and the platform movements required. A verified cycle time is not published for the reference design. Ask for a retrieval assessment based on the proposed layout and busiest operating period.
